- Wrap It Up- Whether you are taking advantage of vacation days and will be out of the office a lot or working through the holidays, finish whatever projects you are working on. Before you leave for time off, make sure you inform your team how they can reach you if necessary and set up automatic response emails so your clients aren’t wondering where you are.
- Make a Blank Slate- In addition to knocking out that to-do list, clean up your work station. Recycle or shred any unneeded documents. Reorganize your files and office supplies and restock if you are missing anything.
- Reflect, Reevaluate & Reconnect- As you begin a new year, reflect on your accomplishments from this past year. This will help you determine what you want to achieve next year. Take this time to reevaluate. Look on this past year and decide what you want to improve on, accomplish and change next year. Also, use the holidays as a way to reconnect with loved ones and recharge.
The New Year is a great time to re-prioritize and make goals. With some preparation, this could be your best year yet!
